Curvalicious deliciousness! This unique desk is painted in VMD's Gypsy and Antique. I love all of the little details like the distressed legs and the fleur de lis (I had to google how to spell that) medallions. Available at Colby's Hokey Pokey Alley Sale this Saturday.

The 'I love your drawer' side table
Check out the drawer on this table. Love it. Painted in VM&D's Willow and Oatmeal, with distressing. Pure beauty. (I think the last picture shows the beautiful colors best.) Available at Colby's Hokey Pokey Alley Sale this Saturday.
Oatmeal Chair
I loved the fabric on this cute chair. And I am a sucker for nice (furniture) legs. Combine these two with a coat of VM&D's Oatmeal Furniture Paint and you have a chair fit for, well, sitting and eating oatmeal! Available at Colby's Hokey Pokey Alley Sale this Saturday.
Chunky Side Table
And by 'chunky,' I mean sturdy! Painted in VM&D's Santa Fe. I love the legs on this table! Available at Colby's Hokey Pokey Alley Sale this Saturday.
Santa Fe Library Table
This little library table was in rough shape when we found it. She has been rejuvenated with VM&D's Santa Fe, clear wax and clear coat. Available at Colby's Hokey Pokey Alley Sale this Saturday.

Oxford and Cotton Dresser
Junk in the background, or not, great things are happening over here at VR! This lovely lady was painted in VM&D's Oxford and Cotton. It also has a beautiful layer of black silk on it. Can I just say, who wouldn't want nine, YES NINE, drawers to put clothing, accessories and... did I mention clothing in?!?!? She will be accompanying us to Colby's Hokey Pokey Alley Sale this Saturday. See you there!
That "Crappy Dart Board Buffet"
Every now and then a piece of furniture comes with a story. With a title like this one, who doesn't want to hear it? Feel free to skip down to the pretty pics if you're the visual type. So this beautiful piece of furniture started out looking like this:
When I saw her sitting there all dejected yet strangely loved with all the love a family can muster when they tell you that way back in the day, their beautiful family heirloom was once used by a family member as a DART BOARD, I knew I had to SAVE her. And thus, she because known as:
(It's very important to label the hardware you take off of pieces when refinishing furniture, so as to not mix it up with other pieces.)
But seriously.... after some much needed TLC (thanks Dad!), this is what she looks like today.
You can tell she is not perfect. I love that the dart holes tell the only story that needs to be told... She was once loved by a boy until it hurt!
And for being such an heirloom antique... check out the legs on this babe!
By the way, she was painted in VM&D's Parisian and Oxford. She will be with us at the Alley Sale at Colby's Hokey Pokey in Whitehall, MI on Saturday. See you there!
Sewing Cabinet
Sorry for all the pictures of the "workshop" lately. Go ahead, look real close in the background. See those piles of junk? Those are future 'imperfect perfections' waiting to happen! But really, please don't judge because I can't help it that I am so excited to show you what we've been working on! I can't even get the furniture pieces outside to properly take pictures. I. must. show. you. now!
Check out this loverly sewing cabinet. She may be small, but you can cram all kinds of accoutrements in her drawers and side openings. I'm even thinking knitting needles and crochet hooks in the sides. (See? Every now and then I can have GREAT ideas!)
She was painted using VM&D's Poppy and Santa Fe. I am having a recent love affair with the newest color, Santa Fe as I realized I have painted four things with it recently. Why stop a good thing when it's happening, right?!
We'll have this loverly with us at the Alley Sale this Saturday at Colby's Hokey Pokey in Whitehall, MI. See you there, rain or shine!
Robin Egg Hutch
This gorgeous hutch would look 'totes adorbs' in your cottage!! It is available at Colby's Hokey Pokey in Whitehall, MI. It is painted using VM&D's Robin Egg and Cotton Furniture Paint. We <heart> that paint!
Stop in and buy see our junk! :o)
Beautiful Cabinet
This beautiful cabinet was painted using olive and cotton. It is finished with clear wax. This is a technique we teach in our intro class. The cabinet is available at Colby's Hokey Pokey in Whitehall, MI.
Oh yeah! Here is the "before"!
